​HOW DOES THE COMMISSION PROCESS WORK?

  • Contact me

  • Describe your requirements, the subject the size of the painting, the amount you wish to spend on your perfect artwork and the timescale.

  • I will put together a commission request for with all the details and price for the painting.

  • Once the commission has been agreed you pay a deposit, you will receive regular updates of the progress

  • When the painting has been completed you will pay the balance and the artwork will be dispatched to you. (UK shipping is always free, there of course is an additional charge for international shipping).

I am sure most of us have had the problem at some time, of finding a suitable present to give to celebrate a special occasion or anniversary. While I was pondering this question in connection with the 30th anniversary of my friends Julie and Richard, the answer came to me when one day when I met Colette in my neighbourhood. She was already known to me as a talented floral artist, whose work had given me pleasure. Why not commission a painting to their taste which they could enjoy as a permanent reminder of their special day?

There followed a fascinating time discussing exactly what form the painting should take with regard to content , colour, shape and size. I could hardly wait to view the finished article! During this time it was a comfort to know that Colette was always on the end of the phone with a sympathetic ear, ever willing to discuss any queries.

Colette fulfilled her commission perfectly and on time and at a very reasonable charge. The painting is now giving my friends daily pleasure and I look forward to repeating the experience should another suitable occasion arise.  Angela
